Saudi Places

Saudi Arabia is near the cradle of civilization across the Red Sea in Africa. Our early  ancestors  are thought to have migrated from Africa into Arabia and then to other places. Three major religions touched the Arab peninsula Judaism, Christianity and Islam. A few photos here reflect what oral tradition in the Arab peninsula claim to have happened here – King Salomon and the Queen of Sheba, the early Christian community referred too in the Quran at Najran at the time of Mohammad. More recently the Ottoman Empire established forts throughout the western side of Saudi Arabia from Tobuk to Najran to the Asir Province.
